Audiovisual

I enjoy writing, storyboarding, shooting, and editing videos. I generally use Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop for video creation, but I've also used InDesign, Illustrator, Character Animator, iMovie, Apple Photos, and Autodesk 3ds Max. For music and sound effects I often record using Garageband, but have also used PreSonus Studio One. On the audio side, I enjoy audio editing, creating sound effects, and have written and narrated a radio play. I also enjoy songwriting and have written several songs as well a full-length musical. For samples of my music, please use my SoundCloud link.
This is my demo reel. It gives a short overview of the things I do.
This was a project where I was given all the raw footage from the various cameras from a Law and Order shoot. I had to edit my own scene using the footage.
This was a fun video. I found a Midi file of Hall of the Mountain King and made the file play basketball sound effects. I added in video from my home team. Go Cavs!
This was a project that involved color correction. You can see the original footage in the smaller window.
This was my spoof of one of those over-the-top, highly caffeinated car commercials. There's quite a few hidden Easter eggs, so watch it more than once!
This was a time lapse video I filmed at Stark State. It was filmed around lunch time.
I played a foley artist for this particular video. I took a silent film and added sound effects, which I recorded or created. I was also able to find the theme song from Benny Hill, which fit this particular video perfectly.
This was a fun project. I had to create opening credits for a fictitious movie. I decided to do an offbeat comedy called Off Color. I also created the music.
This is a radio play. I wrote, did all the voice work, created the music, created or recorded most of the sound effects, and edited the piece together.
This was me just goofing off and having fun. This is a parody and music video which spoofed the Twilight Zone, the song Brick House, and took advantage of some old animated footage I found of the Three Pigs.
This was me having some fun and doing a Covid-inspired rendition of the Law and Order scene I edited for a project. I had all the raw footage from the original TV shoot, but it wasn't shot for this particular use. So, I had to be creative to do this.
I took a 3D modeling class. So, I decided to design a Star Trek inspired spaceship that was named after me. I did this on an undernourished laptop, so my computer spent close to two weeks rendering. Maybe I could have done more with better equipment.
This was a fictious commercial. I recorded, mixed, and added music and sound effects.
This was one of my early efforts learning Adobe After Effects. While I could do much more today, I think it's a solid project.
This was a documentary I put together for the Stark Media Awards. Being in the middle of the pandemic, normal filming was out of the question, so I decided to get creative and figure out a way to get something done.
This is a one-man music video. It's a parody of an old Rolling Stones tune, I Can't Get No Satisfaction.
This was filmed in the heart of the pandemic. It's more of an investigation of whether this would be a valid idea as opposed to a full-blown documentary. Maybe sometime in the future I will revisit this.
This is my first effort using Adobe Character Animator. I did a puppet interview of the prophet Jonah from the Bible.
